AI Dispatch for Hotshot Carriers
Hotshot is urgency-first. The load that pays $3.50/mile closes in 20 minutes. DispatchOS AI scores opportunities by pickup window and net profit simultaneously — so the right call takes seconds, not a spreadsheet.

Hotshot AI Dispatch Features
Urgency-First Scoring
Loads ranked by pickup window urgency, then net RPM. The math matches how hotshot actually works.
Pickup Truck Cost Model
Fuel economy set to your actual MPG (10–12 loaded). Not a semi's 6–8 MPG — the wrong floor costs money.
CDL Weight Alert
Loads approaching 26,001 lbs combined GVWR flagged before acceptance. Compliance first.
Oil Field Broker Vetting
Oil field and construction brokers vary wildly in payment reliability. Risk score before you commit 400 miles from home.
Counter-Offer Drafts
Urgency premium built into your counter-offer. AI quantifies why same-day delivery is worth more — so you don't give it away.
Same-Day Invoice
Invoice generated on delivery. Hotshot cash flow lives and dies on same-day invoicing — not end-of-week batch.
Why Hotshot Dispatching Is Different
Urgency is the product. A shipper paying $3.50/mile isn't paying for miles — they're paying to avoid $20,000 in rig downtime while they wait for a replacement part. The dispatcher who can quantify that urgency value and hold the floor gets paid. The one who defaults to the lane average leaves $1/mile on the table.
Pickup truck economics don't work like semi math. A loaded 1-ton dually with a gooseneck gets 10–12 MPG. At $4/gallon diesel, fuel cost is $0.33–$0.40/mile. That's $0.08–$0.12/mile more than a semi on the same load. A dispatcher using a generic rate calculator that assumes semi fuel economy will consistently misestimate the floor — and accept loads that don't cover costs.
Does it cover the Permian Basin and other oil field markets?
Yes. Permian Basin (Midland/Odessa), Eagle Ford (San Antonio), Bakken (Williston), DJ Basin (Denver), and Haynesville (Shreveport) are tracked. Oil field broker risk scores are available for brokers active in these markets.
How does it handle loads that might require a CDL?
Your truck and trailer GVWR configuration is stored in your profile. When a load's weight approaches or exceeds 26,001 lbs combined, the load is flagged before you accept. This prevents accepting a load your setup can't legally haul without a CDL.
Can I use it for agricultural hotshot during harvest season?
Yes. Agricultural equipment corridors (corn belt planting and harvest, cotton harvest in the South, specialty crop equipment) are tracked seasonally. The system surfaces demand spikes in agricultural hotshot markets so you can position before rates peak.
