What exactly does DispatchOS AI do?
DispatchOS AI is an AI operating system for freight dispatch. It analyzes load opportunities, calculates true net profit, scores broker risk, assists with negotiation, assigns drivers, monitors active loads in real time, and escalates exceptions. The goal: one dispatcher managing significantly more loads without burning out on repetitive tasks.
Does the AI book loads or talk to brokers automatically?
Only within the boundaries you set. DispatchOS AI operates on a human-in-the-loop model: the AI analyzes, recommends, and drafts — but your dispatcher reviews before anything is committed. You can widen or tighten those boundaries through your company policy settings.
How is this different from a traditional dispatch service?
A traditional dispatch service gives you a human dispatcher doing the work. DispatchOS AI gives your dispatcher AI capabilities, making them exponentially more effective. It's not about replacing your dispatcher — it's about letting one dispatcher do the work that used to require two or three.
How does the profit calculation work?
For every load opportunity, DispatchOS AI computes loaded miles, deadhead miles and their cost, estimated fuel at current prices, driver pay, overhead, and tolls. It surfaces the true net profit number before you decide — not just the offered rate or a rough RPM estimate.
What load boards and integrations are available?
DispatchOS AI is in Closed Beta. Current capabilities include manual load import and analysis. Load board integrations (DAT, Truckstop, 123LoadBoard) and ELD/TMS connections are on the roadmap and being added during the beta period based on carrier feedback.
