AI Dispatch for Small Fleets (2–10 Trucks)

The small fleet bottleneck: the owner is also dispatching, and there aren't enough hours to analyze every load properly. DispatchOS AI handles the analysis — one dispatcher can run 10 trucks without the quality drop that comes from working too fast.

How AI Dispatch Scales Small Fleet Operations

The analysis bottleneck. Without AI, each load requires: search the board, check the broker, calculate the net RPM, compare to alternatives, draft a counter-offer if needed. For 10 trucks running 3 loads each per week, that's 30 load decisions per week — each taking 15–30 minutes manually. AI cuts each decision to under 2 minutes.

Driver assignment without the cross-referencing. Matching a load to the right driver requires knowing their current location, HOS remaining, and equipment type — data that lives in three different places manually. DispatchOS AI surfaces the right driver for each load automatically.

Small Fleet Features

Multi-Driver Management
All drivers tracked in one view — location, HOS remaining, current load status, available equipment.
Smart Driver Assignment
AI matches loads to available drivers by location, HOS, and equipment. One confirmation, not a research project.
Fleet-Wide Load Scoring
All active opportunities scored simultaneously. See which loads work for which drivers at a glance.
Broker Risk Panel
Shared broker intelligence across all drivers. One bad broker experience flags across the whole fleet.
Document Compliance
BOL and POD tracked per load, per driver. Fleet-wide compliance visibility — no loads falling through.
Fleet Performance Reports
Average net RPM, broker performance, and load volume by driver. Data to make better lane decisions.
At what fleet size does AI dispatch stop making sense?
DispatchOS AI currently scales to 10 trucks on the Professional plan. Above 10 trucks, contact us for Scale plan pricing. Enterprise fleets with dedicated IT infrastructure typically use TMS software rather than AI dispatch — DispatchOS AI is built for the 2–10 truck range where TMS complexity isn't justified but the manual approach is clearly breaking down.
Does it work if I run mixed equipment (dry van and reefer, for example)?
Yes. Each truck in your fleet has its own equipment profile. Load scoring and driver assignment match loads to the correct equipment type. Mixed fleets are fully supported — the cost models for each equipment type are applied correctly per truck.
How long does it take to set up?
Setup takes less than 30 minutes. You enter your trucks, drivers, and cost profile (fuel rate, driver pay structure, overhead). The system is ready to score loads immediately. No data migration, no TMS integration required to start.
